The short version

Fjords Fragrance is a static website. We have no user accounts, no comment forms, no advertising networks and no tracking cookies. We cannot see who you are, and we like it that way.

What we collect

Nothing personally identifiable, by default. Our free tools (the Scent Finder quiz, Scent Wheel and Dilution Calculator) run entirely in your browser - your answers and inputs are never sent to us or stored anywhere.

Anonymous usage statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first tool. It counts page views and load times in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not track you across sites.

Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes IP addresses in transit to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you email us

The newsletter box and contact links open your own email app. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you chose to share. We use it only to reply (and, if you asked to be notified about the shop opening, to send that one notification). We do not sell, share or add your address to any third-party list. Ask us to delete your emails at any time and we will.

Embedded tools on other sites

Our tools can be embedded on other websites via an iframe. The same rules apply there: the tools run in your browser and send us nothing. The embedding website's own privacy policy governs everything else on that page.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we hold none unless you have emailed us, this usually takes one short reply. Contact: [email protected].

If the shop opens or anything above changes, this page will be updated first - with a new date at the top.
